As we continue engaging with one another virtually in the workplace, it’s become increasingly important to be mindful with those interactions as a leader and to not go on autopilot going through the motions.
We all make thousands of decisions each day, most of them automatically. When we experience what we believe are the same circumstances we seen before, we revert to past decisions to save energy. However, we run the risk of not Respecting a conversation, situation or person which can damage trust, understanding and alignment. Practicing how to exert the energy needed to be more mindful with our interactions will pay great dividends in the short and long-term.
